Journal #1- Dear diary, My mother died today. The doctor presumed that she died from Tiberculous, I knew she had only a limited time to live after I started seeing her cough up blood. Now I'm unsure what to do because my father wants nothing to do with me. Now I'm feeling very lonely with out her.


Journal #2- Dear diary, I find myself very tired from today. I just swam six miles against the current in the James river. My body aches from the gruesome work out. I am now being told that my time might have set a record!


Journal #3- Dear diary, The love of my life died today. I feel much sorrow about this, I honestly belive If I would have had more money I could have been able to keep her alive longer. I have nothing better to do so I feel like the best thing to do to ease my pain is to drink, like there's no tomorrow. Lord please give me the strength to get through this tragic death to the one I love most.


Journal #4- I belive that the cause of Poe's death was many things,such as alcohol poisoing, rabies, or maybe he was heart broken. These all contributed to his very mysterious death.I belive the alcohol poisoing is possible because of how much he drank. The Rabies is possible because he had hydrophobe and died on the day most people who get rabies die on the fourth day oof the infection. Now the last possible thing might be of having his heart broken and had no more to live for, after both of his moms died and his fathers wanting nothing to do with him and his wife dying.
